Memories.

I was digging through my photo library
and came across a few photos/videos i
captured during the record making process
for A minor bird.

They fill my mind with
such fond memories that will forever
be locked in my heart as some of the most
special days of my life.
I absolutely loved the atmosphere, the people,
the city.
Each day i felt so inspired to go work
with My husband and Jeremy at his
wonderful studio.

I greatly look forward to the next time
we are able to make music together again
but until then
I thought i'd share a few of these little snippets
with you guys.

Enjoy!

Southern Belle.

Truth be told,
I am a southern bell.
I'm certain i will always be.
I love how green and lush the south is.
it honestly makes my heart skip a beat at times.
I'm so happy to be home for a few days
relaxing, enjoying the spring weather
that bring with it those longer, romantic warm evenings.
All i want to be doing during this time
of year is spending time with My Husband and Family
(barbequing if i'm really honest.)
Going for walks, lazing around reading books
and writing a song or two.

It's the perfect time to relax.
and i'm taking full advantage of it because
Darren and i leave in about a week to meet up
with Jeremy in L.A to start Sucre's first tour!
We are beyond excited!

The record release is also right around the corner.
coming up on april 10'th.
You can now sample snippets of the record at
Amazon if you like! or preorder the record here.

It's been such an amazing experience making
this record. I feel so lucky to have gotten the
chance to work with my husband and dear friend Jeremy.
And for this reason it is so very close to my heart.
I hope each of you take it and make it your very own.

Please, please, pleeeease come see us
this month while we have this opportunity
to come and play for a few cities.
I'm not sure how much touring we'll
be doing this year but i hope it's more
than less.

Thank you all so much for your kind
feedback on Facebook and twitter.
Every message means a lot!

*hugs*

-Stacy.

Pictures from the present.

Hello All,
Stacy here.
It's been a while since i last posted.
Been busy, on the road with Eisley.
Touring has been fun!
Darren finished his tour last week
and joined me in Philadelphia.
It's been so wonderful having him here.

This past week we got to explore
cities like Boston, Buffalo NY, and
today Covington Kentucky!

Boston has to be one of the coolest cities ever, of all time.
It's so beautiful, romantic and holds so much history.
We hung out around Copley Square
and shopped on Newbury St.

We visited the boston library
and it honestly blew my mind.
The inside was filled with marble pillars and marble staircases
that took you from floor
to floor.
 gigantic murals lined the walls.
Tiny secret rooms made of all wood
that housed tiny secret books.
There were also huge rooms that were not so secretive
where students could sit at neat desks and study for hours.

I honestly think we could've spent all day in there
and still would never have found the end of it.
It was so magical.

Darren outside the library looking charming
and jolly at the same time.

Hope you are all doing wonderful
and enjoying the first hints of spring.

The release of the album is so close!!!
Thank you all who have already pre ordered it.

For those of you in L.A Sucre will be
playing Our Album release show at The Bootleg bar on April 12'th
with Whispertown and The Honey Trees.

Love Always,
Stacy.

When We Were Young Live Performance With "Invisible Children"

Hello Lovelies!
I'd like to share a little live video that we
shot with the wonderful people at "Invisible Children"
We had fun hiking up into an abandoned Zoo
to perform this song.
The scenery was beautiful and it was
a really fun experience.
Invisible Children is an organization that aims to stop the longest-running
war in Africa, to end the abduction of innocent children forced
into fighting and to rebuild schools and provide education and jobs
in northern Uganda.

We were so happy and thankful to be a part
of something that is for such a great genuine cause.

Sincerely, Stacy.

Good for The Heart.

This month i had the really good fortune of being with
My Husband for the first half of his tour.
It was so much fun and i felt like the luckiest
girl on the planet getting to watch him play every night.
It's amazing how much i still crush on him when he's playing
those drums!

Our flight home was SUPER early and neither of us slept
the night before. So this started our week home off
in a jetlag spiral, thus i am blogging at 5AM
And feeling alive and well snacking here and there
 Listening to Darren jamming M83
from the other room while he works on a little project.

Our life is very strange and always changing.
We've been traveling so much lately and
it's just the beginning! The next few months
are going to be filled with touring for both Eisley
and Sucré.

We're hoping to book some shows
to coincide with the release of the Sucré record
in april.

That is, if you guys think that's a good idea....

If not, well....
I'll probably just cry for the entire
month of april and then eventually go get a job
as a Nanny...

Because, we all know that's the next
coolest job after getting to be a musician.

Infact, my friend Karin is a nanny
and i'm preeetty jealous of her.
She gets to share in these kids
childhood and buy them cute
sparkly pink shoes. Laugh at
the funny things they say and then
turn em' over to their Parents at the end of the day!
Plus she gets paid!!!

MAN. All you Mom's out there
are getting jipped BIG time...

just kidding.

Anyway!
I hope some of you will be able to make it out to
some of these shows whether it's for Eisley or Sucré.
It would do our hearts good.

Speaking of doing good things for
my heart, maybe it's time for bed!

Xo.

Instagram's of this week.

I hope you all had a nice week and Valentines day.
Darren and i had one of the best weeks ever
Eating waffles and chocolate and walking
around boise and salt lake.
The tour is is coming to an end.
It's been SO, so amazing to be with my husband.
I'm anxious to get home and hang with my family
and hopefully get some writing done for Eisley's next record.

I feel so blessed to be doing
so much of what i love these days.
I'm really looking forward to the next
few months.

Hope you are all well
and enjoying the last
bits of winter.
Come on spring!!

Day Off In Ashland.

Hello friends,

It's a day off in Ashland, Oregon.
It's so peaceful here and there's so
many cute city folk walking around
the streets. They are very friendly
and make me feel like a local.
I love blending in!

Favorite things i've seen so far today:

The older woman at the cashier
rocking low burgundy ponytails, kind blue eyes
and a sweet disposition.

The old grey couple walking towards
Darren and I looking very dapper and
holding hands.

The GORGEOUS Rhodesian ridgeback that i got to say hello to on the street
thanks to a friendly owner!

I'm definitely enjoying myself here.
It's beautiful!

Thanks for reading!

Sincerely, Stacy.

Sucre's first show.

Just wanted to say a huge thank you to all of you who
came out to the show monday night.
We were of course nervous as it was our first show
but we had so much fun!!
We had ONE day to rehearse for the gig.
Our string players were such troopers!
It was such a delight to get to know them.

To me, i think talking with the fans was the best part of the night.
I was completely humbled that so many people came up to say hello
after the show.

All in all it was a magical night
and i look forward to seeing you all at the next show!

Much love, Stacy.

Vintage Shopping in Boulder, CO

The Other Day MuteMath had a day off in
the very cool city of Boulder.
Darren and i sought out to find the best coffee in the city
first thing (duh)
And took a friends recommendation to try out Ozo Coffee.
Oh. My. Goodness.
It was a SERIOUS coffee experience!!
It made us so jovial that we were ready to
explore the city and hopefully find some good shopping.

We happened apon an insanely amazing vintage store
called "GOLD MINE" and boy was it!!
I was about to have a heart attack with all the cute
vintage dresses this place had hiding in the racks!

The girl who worked there was SUPER sweet
and complimented my Red Velvet Dress
I told her all about my friend Elsie
it was so fun talking with her,
i love it when store owners are friendly.

I really wanted to find some new dresses
for my trip to L.A + Sucre's Show on Monday!

This is the first dress i tried on.
I loved it but the sleeves had holes in the armpits!
Can't be baring my under arms while i'm singing.
Love, love, loveddd the collar on this one.
But alas, it was a wee bit big:(

I sort of regret not getting this one, but it was a bit pricey + kind of big.
At last! We have a winner!!!
I'm a sucker for cute buttons and long sleeves. I had to have it.

Oh MY! this was a last minute find and a total surprise.
I love the mod vibe of it. The material is a little thick for my liking
but i just thought it was too cute to pass up.
So that sums up my shopping trip!
After this, Darren and i went for some Crepes. YUM!
twas such a special day.

Here is Darren... just looking cute and talking with
the Cannon Blue boys.
(They are wonderful)
 check them out!
I think some of them will be joining me onstage
for the cafe' hotel show this monday!
 Elevator shot! <3

Much love, Stacy.
